Titans wants to continue the positive momentum seen in these communities nationwide, and fight to constantly lower dropout rates across the board for all Houston students. From the beginning, Titans will work with qualified tutors to provide tutoring to all students on our teams to ensure that each child is given the best possible chances to excel in school and feel empowered to continue their education. Similar to the great improvements seen in retention rates in secondary education, enrollment in higher education institutions has also seen a large increase, reaching 35% in 2014 a 13% jump from 1993.
However, Titans also recognizes that a traditional education can be difficult to engage in, and therefore will work with members of Titans FC and other companies in Houston to provide internship and shadowing programs to increase awareness in the kids of all opportunities available to them. These programs will be available to all students in order to demonstrate the real world applications of their education and help facilitate a greater interest in learning. Additionally, as Titans grow and the students in our program are approaching university, we will pool internal donations as well as external grants in order to help provide scholarship money for our students so that income is no longer a barrier to these kids achieving their dreams.
